Liverpool news: Jurgen Klopp reveals transfer plans whether Reds win the Premier League title or not
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has insisted he won’t be spending big money this summer and believes he can keep his title challenging squad together.Last year the Reds splashed the cash in July 2018 bringing in a wealth of talent who have helped his team take Manchester City all the way in a tense race for the Premier League trophy.2

Naby Keita (52.75m), Fabinho (39m), Xherdan Shaqiri (13.5m), and Alisson (55.5m) all joined the club as Klopp pushed for glory this campaign.The German manager believes their displays this year both in the league and in Europe show they don’t need to throw more money at the squad.And he has insisted he can keep the talented squad together and won’t lose any of his top stars as has happened previously.“I don’t think this is a team at the moment where we have to spend the big money,” said Klopp. “The best way to do it is to bring together a group of players, try to develop them together and then stay together for a while.“And that was maybe the main problem at Liverpool for the last decade. When they had a good team, after a season they went all over the world. That will not happen this year, for sure.”2

Klopp is still thought to be interested in signing another playmaker though, having missed out on Nabil Fekir last summer.Meanwhile, even if the German says he won’t lose a star player it won’t stop interest in his stars with returning Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane reportedly keen on landing Sadio Mane.
