After three seasons in the Championship, Villa are finally back in the top flight after beating Derby County 2-1 at Wembley Stadium.Their return to the Premier League comes less than a year after Sawiris (executive chairman, part of the richest family in Egypt) and Edens (co-chairman, co-owner of NBA team Milwaukee Bucks) completed their 60m takeover, which saved the club from the threat of administration. The victory was huge for Villa, not only for their promotion but also the estimated 170million windfall that comes with winning the so-called richest game in football. But the mega-rich duo have no plans to stop there and insist they will back the Villans with funds to ensure they can compete on their return to the Premier League.Speaking to Jim White after the final whistle, the Sawiris said: I still cant believe were in the Premier League.Im still getting the thought through my mind. This is the second best feeling since my daughter was born! This is why I came into English football. Im a very bad loser, everybody who knows me knows that I hate losing, so were here to win.Dean and the squad were amazing, they had belief, and the fans were great. And with such a great fanbase, the sky is the limit! And American businessman Edens said promotion is only the start of their plans for the West Midlands club.I feel so fortunate to be a part of it, he told the talkSPORT host. Its an amazing thing to be part of this great club and its history and to be back in the Premier League, it means everything. Our goal was to get into the Premier League, but that is just the beginning.Aston Villa players celebrate following their Championship play-off final victory over Derby County at Wembley Stadiumgetty2
